American & British English

Owhhhh rupanya orang yang suka cakap nak 'rubber' tu sebenarnye dia lebih gunakan British English. Ingatkan dia sesaje menggatal guna perkataan tu sebab bunyi sama macam 'raba' dalam Bahasa Malaysia kehkehkeh =P

'takeaway' tu pulak memang selalu la guna tambah pulak kalo masuk fastfood restaurant. memang 'takeaway' sesaje la.

Kalau 'takeout' tu pulak, selalunya aku dengar masa subjek English, teacher yang mengajar tu akan cakap : "Please takeout your text book and open to page bla bla bla.."  hehehehe =P

Saya duduk sini memang berterabur habis English saya. Grammar tu satu hal sebab saya memang lemah bab grammar ni. Tapi, penggunaan American English dengan British English ni pun jadi masalah juga. Selalunya dalam essay saya, memang bercampur aduk English saya.

Hihihi yg 'Please takeout your text book,..' tu, 'take out' - phrasal verb. Akak selalu confuse penggunaan chips. Klu British, maknanya kentang goreng (fries),...American pula chips tu kerepek kentang ;)
